97.3 the Wave is extremely proud to partner with many non-profits and charitable organizations that make a difference in our community! We’re shining a spotlight on these organizations to share how they’re continuing to help our community through the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as how we can help support them.
What has been a highlight for your organization from the past year?
“We greatly value the contributions made by our many loyal supporters. Their generous gifts have played and integral role in the caring compassionate service provided to our patients. We have continued to meet the ever changing needs of our community and the highlights for the past year include but are not limited to support of the new Corneal Transplant Program serving patients from all over New Brunswick, success in raising funds for 3D Mammography for the Breast Health program (expecting delivery in the very near future) and continued to support patient care, education, and vital equipment for our community.”
What message do you have for the community right now?
“We are thinking about our community -particularly the most vulnerable and those who care for them. We are so grateful for the outpouring of support we have received over the past few weeks. Including moral support of our health care team who continue to show up, the financial support of our community ensuring that our team have the tools and resources they need now and well into the future. Together we will continue to support a healthy future for all of us. Stay Strong and Healthy.”
How can our community help you at this time?
“We are so grateful for the health care staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital staff are putting others before themselves during this critical time. There is no better time to show our appreciation than in this moment. You can help by donating to St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation in support of their tireless efforts. Alternatively send a note of support and gratitude on the Foundations Face Book page, by e-mail or by phone and we will be sure to pass the message along.
We recognize that this is difficult for family members too, as they are not allowed to visit their loved ones in hospital during this time. We would also like families of our patients to know they can also send along message for their loved ones via our Face Book page, by e-mail or by phone and we will ensure those messages get delivered.”
Please tell us more about the Share the Love Project!
“Inspired by our most senior patients St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation has embarked on a Community wide “Share the Love Project”.
As Healthcare personnel work tirelessly there are a number of ways for everyone to show their love and support. St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation are asking the community to participate in the campaign simply by sharing what is in their heart. We are asking people to cut out a Heart and place it on their Window’s or Doors for others to see in gratitude for those who continue to show up for us. Design your own cut the one of our custom hearts found on the foundations Facebook Page or Website and simply write your own message of gratitude. Take a picture and share on your social media channels using the hastag #Sharethelove.
A Heart symbolizes Love, Unity,Charity, Power and strength among other things we can’t think of a better way to Share the Love throughout our community.
