97.3 the Wave is extremely proud to partner with many non-profits and charitable organizations that make a difference in our community! We’re shining a spotlight on these organizations to share how they’re continuing to help our community through the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as how we can help support them.

 

What has been a highlight for your organization from the past year?

“We have received so much support from our community! Earlier this year, we started a program called #OasisGivesBack to connect our members with volunteer opportunities in our area. We look forward to finding new community organizations to partner with once we are able to open again!

What message do you have for the community right now?

We hope that you are staying at home, staying safe, and making your mental health a priority! We’re all dealing with a lot of changes and feelings of uncertainty right now, so it’s normal to feel a bit anxious. KV Oasis is unable to open for youth right now, but we encourage everyone to stay connected. Talk to others, share how you’re feeling, and ask for help when you’re feeling overwhelmed. How can our community help you at this time?

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we’ve had to lay off most of our staff and postpone a number of crucial fundraising initiatives, but we still have to cover our operating expenses. As we navigate these circumstances, donations of all sizes are appreciated.”
