Good news for those who are waiting for a package through Canada Post.
The Crown corporation is restoring its normal holiday delivery schedule guarantees for most of the country, which means you can expect normal holiday delivery times for parcels.
Canada Post suspended the guarantees in mid-November after rotating strikes by postal workers caused backlogs in the system.
The federal government ordered an end to job action on Nov. 27.
Officials say they have been able to catch up, in part due to lower than expected holiday parcel volumes.
The company says it delivered nearly 4 million parcels across the country between last Friday and Monday.
But if you are expecting a parcel from outside of Canada, you may have to wait until early January for it to arrive.
