Home sales in the Saint John region continue to run at some of the highest levels ever recorded.
The Saint John Real Estate Board says 175 homes were sold last month, making it the best November for sales since 2005.
November home sales totalled $34.6 million — up nearly 40 per cent from the same month in 2017.
When you look at the year-to-date numbers, home sales are down slightly by 1.3 per cent to 1,968 units.
Board president Sherry Sheldrick says with listings in the region sitting at a decade-low, prices continue to push higher.
The average home price so far this year is up 6.3 per cent to just over $187,000.
There were 1,283 homes on the market at the end of November, down 24.5 per cent from the end of November 2017.
