It’s a place for kids and families to play and learn about the seals, eels, birds and other wildlife in Saint John Harbour: the second of three Eco-Hubs has been installed along the Harbour Passage.
Fabricator John Morgan installed the eco-hub and he tells CHSJ News it’s a beautiful spot and the new play area is very welcoming. For him, the highlight is a full-size sculpture of a harbour porpoise onto which kids can climb and play. Other features include hopscotch stepping stones and brightly coloured, plant and animal-shaped information panels.
Construction on the third Hub is set to begin later this year.
