Mounties have concluded a police operation on Argyle Street near McKenzie Avenue in Moncton.
Officers asked everyone to avoid the area and told residents to stay in their homes just before noon on Sunday.
At around 3:30 p.m., New Brunswick RCMP tweeted that one person had been taken into custody, and residents could resume their activities.
Police say more information will be shared when it becomes available.
This is the second time in less than a week RCMP have responded to an incident on Argyle Street in Moncton.
