A Saint John woman wanted on an outstanding Canada-wide warrant has been arrested by the Fredericton Police Force.
Officers arrested 30-year-old Amber Davis on Tuesday after a warrant for her arrest was issued on July 6 for violating the conditions of statutory release.
Davis had been living at a community correctional centre in Saint John before she went on the lam for the last two weeks.
She is currently serving a sentence of two years for the following charges:
- Two counts of assault with a weapon
- Six counts of Theft under $5,000
- Theft from mail
- Motor vehicle theft
- Arson-Disregard for Human Life
- Assault Peace Officer with Weapon or Imitation
- Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Possession Schedule I Substance
- Three counts for failure to attend court
- Fail to Comply with Order-At-Large
“The Saint John Police Force would like to thank the public and the Fredericton Police Force for their assistance,” wrote Saint John police in a statement.
