A Nova Scotian is now a two-day Jeopardy! champion.
Mattea Roach took home the title again on Wednesday with a nearly $39,000 win on the popular TV game show.
The 23-year-old Toronto-based tutor aced the Final Jeopardy round, securing $10,000 with her correct answer.
Overall, she answered 35 out of the 60 clues on the game show.
Roach has now claimed a two-night total of more than $70,000.
She expressed her gratitude on Twitter.
“Being on Jeopardy at all was such an incredible stroke of luck. To actually win a game was the cherry on top of what would have been an amazing experience regardless of result,” the Tweet says.
After her first win, Roach said the winnings would be used to pay off her student loan.
Roach will make her third appearance on the show on Thursday night.
