The City of Saint John wants to hear from residents about the creation of a ridesharing by-law.
The province has passed legislation that sets standards for licensing and regulations for ridesharing companies.
However, under the legislation, the city must create its own by-law for ridesharing companies to operate within the community.
Residents are encouraged to fill out the survey on the Shape Your City website.
The survey runs from March 24 to April 6. It is expected that the draft by-law will go to Common Council on April 18.
