Saint John police say they have made an arrest after a bomb threat at a west-side school.
On March 18, the Saint John Police Force and other emergency services responded to a report of a bomb threat at Barnhill Memorial School at 750 Manawagonish Road.
School officials evacuated the students while police contained the scene and searched the building.
During the search, no threats were found, and officers turned the school back over to school officials.
As a result of the ongoing investigation by the force’s Major Crime Unit, police said a 13-year-old young person was arrested on March 25 for uttering threats.
They were released on an undertaking to appear in court on May 18.
