Travelling tomorrow morning could get a bit tricky due to the weather.
A freezing rain warning is in effect for parts of the province including Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick.
A rainfall warning is also in effect for parts of New Brunswick including Saint John and County, St. Stephen, and Northern Charlotte County.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Jill Maepea says this is going to make driving conditions icy and slippery, “The morning commute will possibly be a difficult one at this point we are expecting like I said the freezing rain to probably start anywhere between 3am and 5am and continue into eight to 10am tomorrow morning.”
She adds, this type of storm isn’t unusual, “Oh, no, no . March is usually a very stormy month in the Maritimes. So this is not out of the ordinary, so we can expect snow, snow mix, rain and freezing rain definitely into April as well.”
Northern New Brunswick will see more snow than freezing rain.
Environment Canada is forecasting up to 20 centimetres for that region.
