Public Health announced six new cases of COVID-19 and another death on Sunday.
The deceased was in their 80s in the Edmundston region and a resident of Pavillon Beau-Lieu, a special care home in Grand Falls.
Their death marks the 37th in New Brunswick due to the pandemic.
The six additional cases were dispersed through four separate health zones.
Three cases were reported in the Edmundston region, and one case was discovered in the Moncton, Saint John, and Bathurst areas.
Special guidelines limiting access to the University of New Brunswick Fredericton campus will be lifted at midnight Sunday.
The school closed itself to the public following an outbreak at Magee House discovered late last month.
Public Health said contact tracing is completed in the Magee House and Elizabeth Parr-Johnston residences, and access will remain limited to those buildings.
