Good news for dog owners, tennis players and pickleballers who live in Quispamsis.
The town has begun reopening some of its facilities just in time for the long weekend.
The Homestar dog park, tennis courts and pickleball courts are now open but will be restricted to a maximum of 10 people at any given time.
“We’re glad that the province has loosened some restrictions, allowing us to open these facilities,” said Mayor Gary Clark in a release.
“After following the rules for the last eight weeks, our residents are anxious to get outdoors and enjoy themselves.”
Town officials are creating operational plans for sports fields, the skate park, BMX dirt jump park and playgrounds, which it plans to open soon.
Meanwhile, town hall will be open for payments and pick-up and drop-off of documents from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting Wednesday. All other services are by appointment only.
