Public Health reported no new cases of COVID-19 in New Brunswick on Thursday.
Two active cases remain and neither are in hospital while 118 individuals have recovered.
To date, 19,307 tests have been conducted in the province.
Chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell says it’s important to be mindful of those who are most vulnerable to the virus.
“As we have seen, the frail, the elderly and those living in nursing homes are particularly susceptible. With those underlying medical conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, lung disease, diabetes and cancer … these people are all at risk,” said Russell.
Russell is urging New Brunswickers to help protect the vulnerable by offering to pick up groceries for them so they can avoid potential contact with the virus.
