To help spread some cheer during these uncertain times, the Imperial Theater is playing a song from their marquee every day!
On Thursdays, we’re taking over their marquee! We want to help spread some cheer across Saint John and play some songs we think will brighten your day.
For our inaugural Imperial Theater Song of the Week, I wanted to share a song that I listen to when I want to cheer myself up.
The song is “All Hands” by former Hey Rosetta! front-man, Tim Baker, from St. John’s, Newfoundland. After announcing the band would go on a indefinite hiatus, Tim Baker released his debut solo album “Forever Overhead” on April 19 2019. The album was shortlisted for the 2019 Polaris Music Prize.
I hope this songs brings you as much joy as it does for me!
Want to request a song to play on the marquee for next Thursday? We’d love to hear from you! You can tweet, text, email, call, get in touch any way you can with your song suggestions and why you think your song is a good choice. Your name and message could be featured on the Imperial Theater Marquee!
