McAllister Place will reopen this week as part of Phase 2 of the province’s COVID-19 recovery plan.
In a post on its website, the Saint John shopping centre says doors will reopen to the public on Wednesday.
It says several restrictions and enhanced safety measures will be in place to keep customers and employees safe.
“The days before we reopen will be used to ensure we offer a safe environment for our customers, tenants, and employees,” said the post.
McAllister Place will continue to have reduced operating hours, opening from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
“Under Phase 2, many businesses within the shopping centre can reopen, but not all will immediately,” said the shopping centre.
More details on which stores will reopen will be posted in the coming days, it said.
“We are on the road to recovery, but this is not a return to normal. When you do return, we ask that you be patient in following all guidelines for your own safety and that of our community.”
Regent Mall in Fredericton, which is operated by the same company, will also reopen Wednesday with similar operating hours.
