New Brunswick has no new cases of COVID-19 today.
Public health says there are still two active cases which were reported earlier this week.
Since March 11, New Brunswick has confirmed a total of 120 cases.
To date, there have been 16,625 tests conducted in the province.
Chief medical officer of health Dr. Jennifer Russell reminds New Brunswickers that screening is taking place at our borders and any travel must be deemed essential.
“Peace officers at our ports of entry are authorized to deny entry to any person who does not provide a valid reason for travel. So I am aware of cases where people are being turned away,” she adds.
The province is expected to announce more details about the Phase Two reopening of New Brunswick’s economy on Friday.
