The Saint John Sea Dogs have been awarded third overall selection in next month’s QMJHL Entry Draft.
Saint John had the fourth best odds going into the draft lottery and was able to move up one spot into third.
The pick originally belonged to Baie-Comeau but arrived in Saint John as part of last year’s trade for goaltender Alex D’Orio.
Gatineau took home first, second and fourth overall while Quebec was awarded the fifth overall selection.
The QMJHL Entry Draft will be held virtually on June 5 and 6.
