Premier Blaine Higgs understands that New Brunswickers may be getting a little restless under the current state of emergency which began on March 19.
Higgs says staying connected with friends, family and neighbours is more important than ever.
The number of COVID-19 cases may be low right now but he’s seeking a pattern.
“If we can get several days or maybe several weeks meaning the next seven to 10 or 14 days of consistent levels of cases or no cases.”
At that time, Higgs says relaxing some measures may be possible.
He’s hopeful they could take a look at that in May.
Now more than ever, he emphasizes how important it is to support local businesses many of which are online and offer delivery service.
