Running errands can be challenging for some during this period of social distancing.
Volunteers and staff from the Kennebecasis Baptist Church are helping out with a free delivery service for those who can’t leave their homes right now.
The church assembled the COVID-19 Response Team to provide delivery at no cost for everyone directly impacted by the pandemic.
Pastor Brian Stockford said they wanted to find a way to help.
“We can help those who are self-isolating by providing this service for them,” Stockford said.
Stockford said they can keep up with the number of requests so far.
“Our numbers are such that we are able to handle it, but again as this increases, even to that point, if anyone has any ideas, they can always call the office. That number is (506) 847-5822. We’d love to make use of anyone that is able to help out,” he said.
The service will be available for the duration of the pandemic.
