The province’s chief medical officer of health is happy to report no new cases of COVID-19, for the second day in a row.
There are still 11 cases in New Brunswick: seven confirmed and four presumptive.
Dr. Jennifer Russell also says they have added resources, including an online assessment tool.
In an effort to allow 811 health-care professionals to support more people who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
She says it will help New Brunswickers determine when they should call the 811 line, which will reduce the volume of calls from people seeking basic information.
Dr. Russell also highlighted the importance of maintaining the healthcare system’s blood supply.
She says additional screening and social distancing measures are in place, and that it is safe to donate blood.
