Another major retailer is closing for the time being during the pandemic.
Indigo Books & Music closed its doors at the end of business on Tuesday, opening again on March 27.
This affects all of their locations across Canada.
The company says none of their employees have tested positive for COVID-19, and they are providing full pay to all workers who were scheduled for this period.
“As this situation continues to evolve, we believe that this temporary shut-down is an opportunity to do our part as members of team Canada to control the spread of COVID-19 and keep our employees, customers and broader community safe,” says Indigo CEO Heather Reisman.
