The storm which moved through the region on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day did not pack as big of a punch as expected.
Environment Canada was calling for around 15 centimetres in the Saint John area, but we only ended up getting around four or five centimetres.
In the Moncton area, residents are cleaning up around 13 centimetres.
Temperatures will be well-below normal throughout the day Wednesday and into the overnight, but temperatures warm up slightly for Thursday with two to four centimetres of snow in the forecast.
