Several Manitoba communities remain on edge as the manhunt continues for two murder suspects from British Columbia.
Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky are charged with second-degree murder in the death of a university professor.
They are also wanted in connection with the shooting deaths of two tourists from Australia and the United States.
The RCMP have spent the past several days combing the community of Gillam, Man., where a vehicle the suspects were driving was found torched last Monday.
All efforts are being made in York Landing to apprehend two individuals matching the description of the suspects. The safety of community members is our priority. We remind residents to stay inside & check all doors & windows to ensure they are closed & locked. #rcmpmb
