Demolition of the old Coast Guard building on Water Street has finally wrapped up, and the site has made a lot of progress since.
All the debris has been removed, and crews have already laid down some asphalt.
The project is expected to be completed by July 22nd.
Businesses and buildings along water street now have an unadulterated view of the harbour, and the parking lot is more accessible.
The site is going to be the home of the Area 506 music festival in August.
The City is still searching for a group to buy the Fundy Quay site, a key harbour-front location which is in desperate need of development.
