A man has been charged with impaired driving causing death following a crash in Charlotte County.
RCMP said they were called to a crash on Clarence Ridge Road in Rollingdam just before midnight Saturday night.
Cpl. Jayson Hansen said they believe the driver lost control, causing the SUV to roll several times. One person in the vehicle was able to call 911.
“One occupant of the vehicle was believed to have been ejected from the vehicle during the crash and died of her injuries,” said Hansen.
Police have identified the victim as a 27-year-old woman from Johnson Settlement.

Hansen said the four other passengers in the vehicle were taken to hospital for treatment.
“I believe a couple might have been admitted overnight, but my understanding is that all four have non-life threatening injuries,” he said Sunday afternoon.
A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with impaired driving causing death, Hansen said.
Kyle Robert Hargrove of Bocabec is due in Saint John provincial court for a bail hearing Monday afternoon.
Hansen said more charges could be laid as their investigation continues.
