More bad news at the pumps as gas prices rise for the 11th week in a row in New Brunswick.
On Wednesday night, the Energy and Utilities Board set the new maximum price at $1.36 per litre — an increase of 1.6 cents.
Many stations in the greater Saint John area are selling it for around $1.329 per litre.
Gas prices have now risen by nearly 32 cents per litre since the end of January.
Meanwhile, the price of diesel also went up by 1.5 cents this week to a new maximum of $1.385 per litre.
Propane and furnace oil prices also increased by around the same amount.
