If you use Meenan’s Cove Park in Quispamsis, the town wants to hear from you.
A new online survey is gathering feedback on improving the town’s most frequently visited park.
Susan Deuville, the town’s chief administrative officer, says one of the big focuses is on flood mitigation strategies for the park.
“With our spring flooding in 2018, our Meenan’s Cove beach house would have been overtaken by water had we not built a berm,” said Deuville.
Deuville said they also want to know what people are using at the park, what their concerns are, and where the town should prioritize future improvements.
The survey will be available online until Thursday, she said.
“We’re working with a consultant and our hope is that we can then prioritize what we’ve heard … then look at some more public engagement around what the future would look like,” Deuville said.
Residents who do not have access to a computer can contact Quispamsis Town Hall and have a staff member fill it out on their behalf.
