Richibucto RCMP are investigating a drive-by shooting in Saint-Paul.
Police say they learned about the incident on Thursday during a community meeting, according to a news release from RCMP.
They say it happened the day before, Wednesday, at about 1:30 a.m. Shots were allegedly fired at a home on Route 515.
People were home at the time but they were not injured. Officers say they are investigating it as an isolated incident.
They have released a photo from video surveillance footage that shows a small orange sedan stop in front of the home, shoot a gun, and drive away.
“I understand that events like this are very concerning, and I would like to reassure the residents of Saint-Paul that the RCMP is committed to ensuring the safety of everyone in the communities we serve,” wrote Sergeant Guillaume Bélanger with the Richibucto detachment in the news release.
Police ask anyone with information to come forward and contact Richibucto RCMP at 506-523-4611.
