Saint John police say a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested.
The 44-year-old was arrested without incident on Friday and remains in custody.
He had been accused of breaching the conditions of his statutory release.
The man was serving a sentence of two years and seven days on a variety of charges, including:
- one count of assault
- one count of failure to attend court
- 14 counts of failure to comply with a probation order
- one count of obstructing a public/peace officer
- one count of theft over $5,000
- 14 counts of theft under $5,000
- an offence under the Motor Vehicle Act
