Another apartment building could soon be popping up in the town of Rothesay.
On Tuesday, council gave the green light for a 24-unit apartment building.
The three-storey building will be located at the corner of Gondola Point Road and Clark Road.
Developers Dave Brown and Russell MacDonald had to get the land rezoned from neighbourhood commercial and two-family residential to multi-unit residential.
In 2010, a previous council entered into a development agreement with Granville NB Prop. Ltd. to allow for the development of a neighbourhood commercial store on the site.
That project never went ahead, so the current council also had to approve a discharging agreement.
Town staff and Planning Advisory Committee members have both given their support for the project.
