Children between six months and five years old can now get their first dose of a COVID vaccine.
Vaccination appointments for that age group begin the first week of August, the Department of Health announced on Tuesday.
Appointments for children aged two or older can be booked through a participating pharmacy or a regional health authority’s online booking system.
All appointments for children under two must be scheduled through a regional health authority’s online booking system.
