The KV Players will perform Disney’s Frozen Jr. over the coming days.
The show will run from July 20 through July 24 at Kennebecasis Valley High School.
The KV Players have had the rights to the show for two and a half years, which is presented through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
“The minute the rights came available we jumped on them because we thought it was a show that would suit our audience, as we try to do one family show each season,” said Suzanne Doyle Yerxa, artistic director for the KV Players.
“For us, part of the exciting part is that it’s not been done in the province yet … realistically we had to postpone for quite a long time, and we were looking forward to bringing it back this summer, although it’s been a shorter preparation period than we thought it may be, simply because we weren’t sure that we were going to be able to even be in the school this summer.”
The evening shows go from Wednesday to Saturday with the curtain going up at 7 p.m.
On Saturday and Sunday, there are also matinee shows that begin at 2 p.m.
All tickets are $20 and can be found on the KV Players’ website.
