A seminar series held by the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Dale Carnegie Business Group, aims to teach valuable skills for today’s business environment.
The organization announced Thursday the three-part series will offer training to membership and the general community.
It will focus on helping employees and their employers become more productive and effective in their business and personal lives.
Topics that will be covered include:
- How to Retain Good People
- Communicating for a Change
- How to Stop Worrying and Start Living
“This series will help our members communicate more effectively, better understand how to retain employees and how to deal with stress in their daily lives,” said David Duplisea, CEO of the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce, in a news release.
“These are top of mind issues for businesses and employees alike.”
Paul Kearley, a business coach and managing partner with Dale Carnegie Business Group, said productivity and effectiveness are critical in today’s evolving business environment, noting that his organization has helped businesses “transform their results” since it was founded in 1912.
“I am delighted to work with the Chamber to help members with valuable learnings and lessons,” he said.
The chamber said the series begins on Aug. 16, with hour-long “Lunch and Earn” sessions taking place every week. Registration
