Alcohol is considered a factor in a single-vehicle crash on Rothesay Road just before 1 a.m. Friday morning.
It occurred near College Hill Road.
Officers arriving on the scene found a broken hydro pole and a vehicle with extensive damage.
Rothesay Road was closed for several hours but it is now back open to traffic.
K.V. Regional Police are still looking into what happened.
The crash resulted in a power outage impacting more than 170 homes and businesses.
All power has since been restored.
