The Anglophone South District Education Council has started the search for its next superintendent.
Zoe Watson plans to retire but will remain in the role for the next several months during the hiring and transition process for her successor.
The superintendent is responsible for the leadership and overall management of the school district including programs and student services, finance, operations, and human resources.
A release says the ideal candidate will have served as a “strategic and visionary educational leader within the public school system”.
The candidate will also bring a passion for enabling student success and a reputation for fostering a culture that supports excellence, communication, collaboration, innovation and celebrates diversity.
