An inmate at the Atlantic Institution in Renous has died while in custody of apparent natural causes.
At the the time of death on June 23, correctional officials say Charles Delorey had been serving an indeterminate sentence which began in November 1983 for second degree murder.
Family members have been notified.
Police and the coroner have been contacted.
Correctional Service Canada said it will review the circumstances as it does with all inmate deaths.
