Canada Day celebrations will return to Saint John on July 1st.
City officials have announced an “exciting lineup of fun, family-friendly activities” for residents and visitors to enjoy.
The city will partner with AREA 506 for the inaugural Canada Day Waterfront Festival at the new waterfront container village on Water Street.
It will run from 1 to 4 p.m. and feature face painting, circus performers, arts and crafts, and more.
The Canada Games Aquatic Centre will host a free family swim from 1 to 3 p.m. It is limited to the first 400 people.
The Saint John City Market will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Weather permitting, the festivities will wrap up with a fireworks display at 10 p.m.
