A man has been arrested in connection with ongoing theft investigations in southern New Brunswick.
Mounties received numerous reports of property theft from Oromocto to St. George between April and June.
Police say items taken during the thefts have included gasoline, off-road vehicles, and catalytic converters.
Officers attended a residence on Route 127 in Chamcook on June 16 and arrested a 29-year-old man from Tracy on unrelated matters.
Police say the man was remanded into custody and has a bail hearing set for next Monday.
Cpl. Jayson Hansen told our newsroom that officers also arrested a 26-year-old woman at the scene for allegedly obstructing officers.
The woman was later released on conditions and has a court date in late December.
Police remind people who see suspicious activity or vehicles in their area to contact them.
