If you recently stocked up on baby formula, you may want to check your shelves.
Shoppers Drug Mart has issued its second recall of certain Abbott-brand powdered infant formula due to possible Salmonella and Cronobacter sakazakii contamination.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the same products were also recalled on Feb. 17 for the same reason.
It adds that there have been reported illnesses in the United States, but none reported here at home.
The agency is now conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
If the products are in your home, you are asked to return them to the store where you purchased them or throw them out immediately.
