COVID-19 vaccine mandates for domestic travel will come to an end.
The federal government made it official Tuesday, announcing that the requirement will be suspended, which will allow unvaccinated Canadians to travel on planes and trains, as well as outgoing international travel.
Those who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 will still be required to quarantine upon re-entry into Canada.
The mandates first came into effect on October 30th, 2021 requiring all passengers on planes or trains to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The changes will take effect on Monday, June 20th.
