Sackville RCMP are investigating a suspicious fire at a lighthouse in Cape Tormentine.
Around 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sackville RCMP and Bayfield Fire Department were called to a fire off Highway 960 near Vista Drive.
The lighthouse was loaded on a large trailer and was about to be moved to another location.
Police say the lighthouse and trailer were both destroyed by the fire.
The New Brunswick Fire Marshal was consulted but did not attend the scene.
Police say the investigation deemed the fire to be suspicious in nature.
