Who is your choice for the next federal Conservative leader?
Narrative Research polled over 12 hundred Canadians last month to find out.
When considered overall, nearly half of Canadians polled are not in favour of any of the current candidates (47%).
Next, they were most likely to prefer either Jean Charest (20%) or Pierre Poilievre (18%).
Less popular are Patrick Brown (8%), Leslyn Lewis (3%), Scott Aitchison (2%), and Roman Baber (2%).
Conservative Party supporters were most likely to support Pierre Poilievre as the next party leader (45%), and only two in ten indicate that they would not choose any of the listed candidates (21%).
Jean Charest is less preferred among by CPC (14%), and one in ten Conservative supporters prefer Patrick Brown (10%).
Leslyn Lewis (4%), Scott Aitchison (4%) and Roman Baber (1%) are least preferred among Party supporters.
Canadians over 55 were more likely to choose Charest, whereas those between the ages of 18 and 24 indicated they would not choose any of the candidates.
A new leader will be chosen on September 10th.
