Gas prices have hit a new record high in New Brunswick.
Regular self-serve is now selling for a maximum of more than $2.19 per litre in the province.
That is an increase of more than eight cents after the weekly setting by the Energy and Utilities Board.
Diesel is up by more than four cents to a new maximum price of $2.27 per litre.
Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
Meanwhile, heating oil prices jumped by just over four cents to a new maximum of $2.06 per litre.
Propane prices remained unchanged at just under $1.26 per litre.
