One of the world’s largest cruise ships is making a stop in Saint John on Wednesday.
Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas is the largest ship to ever berth in the Port City since the first cruise ship arrived in 1989.
It is scheduled to spend about 12 hours in the city, arriving at 9:20 a.m. and departing at 9:25 p.m.
The 360-metre-long ship has a capacity of around 5,400 passengers and more than 2,000 crew.
This is the fourth cruise ship visit of the year in Saint John and the second one this week.
Adventure of the Seas, which was supposed to visit Bermuda, was re-routed to Saint John on Tuesday due to weather. It had a passenger capacity of 3,500.
The Seven Seas Navigator, which holds nearly 500 passengers, will make its second visit to the city this season on Saturday.
