Around 170 Ukrainians will arrive in New Brunswick today after fleeing conflict in their home country.
A plane will touch down at around 4pm Tuesday afternoon.
Premier Blaine Higgs, Arlene Dunn, who is the minister responsible for immigration and minister responsible for Opportunities NB, and representatives from several integration agencies in the province will greet the Ukrainians at the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport.
From there, most of them will be find new residence in Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton.
Upon arrival, each Ukrainian will receive a welcome kit containing information to get their lives started in New Brunswick.
