Paladin Security has won the New Brunswick government contract to provide security services at facilities operated by the Vitalité and Horizon Health Networks.
As a result, the British Columbia based company intends to hire about 300 employees at 26 sites across New Brunswick.
The company says healthcare security positions are starting at $20 per hour and parking positions are starting at $18 per hour.
Paladin Security intends to set up an office at 1080 Champlain Street in Dieppe with 2,690 square feet of office space with the potential for an additional 1,100 square feet.
“We are excited to be expanding into New Brunswick and bringing The Paladin Difference to the province’s healthcare facilities. Through our superior training and support programs, we will work with the Regional Health Authorities to ensure their hospitals are welcoming and safe places where staff and patients can focus on the delivery of care and recovery. We are proud to add this to our Atlantic Canada healthcare success along with Nova Scotia and Newfoundland,” said Blair Davenport, Paladin’s Executive Vice President.
The Dieppe office will be shared with Concord Parking and Paladin Risk Solutions which are Paladin Security’s sister companies.
