The Kennebecasis Valley will soon be home to a hockey-themed restaurant and sports bar.
The Tipsy Roadhouse, Home of the Legends of Hockey Sports Grill, is coming to Quispamsis.
It will be located in the former Bootstrap Pub location in Lakefield Plaza at 184 Hampton Road.
Brunswick Brokers, which represents the landlord of the plaza, announced the new business on Tuesday.
The business is the brainchild of Steve Walton, who owns the Tipsy Tomato in Millidgeville and The Legends of Hockey.
“With Steve Walton’s success of the Tipsy Tomato/Roadhouse in Millidgeville and his other business “The Legends of Hockey,” he is now bringing the two together,” the real estate agency said in a post on its website.
“Walton is teaming up once again with well known local Chef Stephane Metayer to offer pub-style food, live music, and guest appearances from some of the greatest hockey players of all time.”
The Tipsy Roadhouse, which is slated to open sometime in late July, is the latest restaurant to call the 100-block of Hampton Road home.
St. Louis Bar & Grill opened at 175 Hampton Road in late 2020 followed by Mexi’s at 170 Hampton Road in late 2021.
The latest restaurant, Pizza Salvatoré, opened its doors in Lakefield Plaza in late March of this year.
Meanwhile, Brunswick Brokers said the strip mall, which is owned by Charlottetown-based The Gray Group, is now 100 per cent leased.
