A shooting at an elementary school in Texas has left at least 19 children and two adults dead.
Governor Greg Abbott confirmed an 18-year-old man opened fire at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday afternoon.
It’s believed the gunman acted alone. He was reportedly killed by law enforcement inside the school.
The teen is suspected of shooting his grandmother before heading to the school.
This was the deadliest elementary school shooting since 26 people were killed in the Sandy Hook School massacre in 2012.
This also comes less than two weeks after a hate-motivated shooting at a supermarket in Buffalo, where ten shoppers and workers were killed.
More to come.
