Do not be surprised to hear loud noises in the uptown Saint John area late Monday morning.
Members of the 3rd Field Regiment, RCA (The Loyal Company) will conduct a gun salute in recognition of Victoria Day.
It will take place in the parking lot of the Barrack Green Armoury, with the first round being fired at 11 a.m.
Residents can expect to hear a sequence of guns firing, but officials said it should not have a major impact on those living in the area.
